How does office hysteroscopy differ from conventional hysteroscopy?

The main difference is the diameter of the instrument. For office hysteroscopy, we use flexible or super-thin rigid hysteroscopes (up to 3-4 mm in diameter).

Does not require anesthesia: The procedure is minimally invasive and practically painless (sensations are similar to a regular examination or menstrual pain).
Does not require cervical dilation: The instrument passes freely through the cervical canal without traumatizing it. This is especially important for women who have not yet given birth.
