The gold standard for infertility diagnosis: accurate fallopian tube patency testing
/wp:heading
wp:paragraph
When a couple faces difficulties conceiving, one of the most important steps is to check the patency of the fallopian tubes. At St. Luke’s Clinic (Banchery village), we perform diagnostic laparoscopy with chromosalpingoscopy. This is a modern endoscopic method that allows for 100% accurate assessment of the reproductive organs and identification of the causes of infertility that are not visible on ultrasound.

What is chromosalpingoscopy?
/wp:heading
wp:paragraph
This is a procedure for visualizing the patency of the fallopian tubes during laparoscopy.

- The surgeon inserts an optical device (laparoscope) into the abdominal cavity through a micro-puncture in the navel.
- A sterile contrast solution (stained blue) is introduced through the cervix.
- On the monitor, the doctor observes: if the fluid freely flows from the ends of the tubes into the abdominal cavity — the tubes are patent. If the fluid does not pass — there is a blockage.

Advantages of the method over X-ray (HSG)

Unlike hysterosalpingography (X-ray of the tubes), laparoscopy allows not only to make a diagnosis but also to immediately perform treatment:

- Dissect adhesions (adhesive process) that compress the tube.
- Remove foci of endometriosis.
- Restore tube patency (fimbrioplasty).
- Remove ovarian cysts or fibroids.

We use expert-class German laparoscopic equipment, which provides ideal visualization.

- Safety and comfort: The operation is performed under general anesthesia.
- Aesthetics: Instead of an incision, 2-3 micro-punctures (5-10 mm) are made, which heal without noticeable scars.
- Fast recovery: You can get up in the evening on the day of the operation. Discharge from the hospital usually occurs the next day.

Result

wp:paragraph
After chromosalpingoscopy, you receive a definitive answer about the state of your reproductive health. If the tubes are patent — the doctor will give recommendations for stimulation or natural conception. If a problem is found — we try to solve it on the spot, significantly increasing your chances of motherhood.
